GRC 2018 - New London, New Hampshire

Dr. Elrod and Jonathan Lambert attended the Cardiac Regulatory Mechanisms Gordon Research Conference at Colby-Sawyer College . Dr. Elrod presented Alyssa Lombardi's recent work investigating mitochondrial calcium exchange's role in linking metabolism with the epigenome to modulate cellular differentiation. Jonathan Lambert's poster abstract was selected for an oral presentation and he presented work on how MCUB regulates the molecular composition of the mitochondrial calcium uniporter channel. The meeting was excellent with all the leaders in cardiac research attending.

Neil's Goodbye Celebration

Neil began in the lab as part of the Presidential Scholar program during his freshman year at Temple. He was a tour de force in the lab for 4+ years. To celebrate his acceptance into Rutgers Medical School we ventured out to the German beer garden, Frankford Hall, for happy hour. Congratulations Neil on your acceptance in to medical school!

Kentucky Derby Party

Andrew performed his this thesis work at the University of Louisville where he began a tradition of watching the Derby with friends. The tradition now continues in Philly!
