Research Technician and Animal Surgeon
Alycia received her B.S. from Ursinus College in Mathematics with a minor in Biology. During her time at Ursinus, Alycia studied the effects of Wnt pathway activation on inflammation and endothelial permeability in the SkM Lab with Dr. April Carpenter. Her primary role in the lab is serving as the assistant director and surgeon for our PPG funded surgical core to study IR-injury and heart failure and also assists with maintenance of our large murine colony.
